Jade is an ornamental mineral, mostly known for its green varieties. It’s actually two different minerals: nephrite or jadeite. Jade features prominently in ancient Asian art, but also has an important place in many other cultures – as greenstone (pounamu) in Maori culture, for example.
Any jewellery featuring jade, tsavorite, garnet, pearl, or agate: bracelets, bangles, cuffs, necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings.
Peonies are voluptuous and beautiful blooms with a great fragrance and impressive size. However they also have anti-inflammatory properties and have featured in Chinese medicine for thousands of years (they even pop the petals in salads, though we wouldn’t suggest trying this without expert advice).
